Commission Complete!
I was finally able to get the commission done. You can see a picture below – took a quick picture of it as I wanted to get it shipped out. I am happy with how it turned out. The colours are not quite mine, but they fit to the person who commissioned it. I will ask for a picture of it in use in the room it was made for.
Lots of work to do before the guild show
My mood has been fluctuating between down and angry. I need to get moving on some of my quilt projects. I have finally gotten a commission quilted (will show it off at tonight’s guild meeting). However, I don’t have the correct fabric to bind it, will have to get that this week. It needs to be sent off to the client ASAP. Once I have it done, I will get some pictures posted.
The pattern is an antique charm quilt called “Bars and Zig Zag” published in the Special Spring 2013 edition of Quiltmania.
